Nope, the distances are too great even if traveling the speed of light were possible. However, communication could be possible if intelligent life was discovered in a nearby star system of our galaxy and if we don’t mind waiting a few thousand light years for an answer.

Not in the universe but we can travel within the solar system.The reason is that we need to travel at a speed reaching light speed to be able to go out of solar system to the universe within our limited ages (say 100 years only)while the time we needs exceeds Millions of years.
