Recent developments, such as the Senate report on the run-up to the Iraq war, and Scott McClellan’s book “What Happened” clearly show that Bush lied to Americans to get us in to war, so he could have his ego-stroking “legacy.” This war cost thousands of lives, and trillions of dollars. Worse, it has set us on a course towards fascism and reduced our standing in the world.
It is vitally important therefore that the Democrats regain control of the White House and the legislature, so that we can undo the damage done by the Bush criminals.
